The best part of a permanent lighting system isn't the colors. It's that you stop thinking about it. Once your schedules are set, your house lights itself up every night and changes for every holiday without you lifting a finger.
Start with an everyday schedule
Most of our customers start with one simple rule: soft warm white from dusk until bedtime, every night. Set it once and the lights come on and shut off on their own. If you'd like the on-time tweaked as the days get shorter in the fall, we can show you how in a couple of taps.
Warm white flatters brick, stone and earth-tone siding. If you'd rather have a brighter look for security, see the section below.
Load your holidays once
You can put holiday themes on the calendar ahead of time:
- Red and green or classic warm white for December
- Orange and purple for Halloween week
- Red, white and blue for Memorial Day and the Fourth of July
- Pink for Valentine's Day, green for St. Patrick's Day
Once they're on the calendar, the lights switch on their own and go back to your everyday schedule afterward.
Save your game-day scenes
Save a scene for each team in your house: Chiefs red and gold, Royals blue, Huskers red, K-State purple or Mizzou black and gold. When it's game time, it's one tap.
Use bright white for security
If you want your driveway and walkways lit up, set a bright white schedule from dusk to dawn. A well-lit house looks occupied, even when you're away on vacation.
One-night moments
Birthdays, anniversaries, a graduation party or a gender reveal. Pick the colors for one night, then let the regular schedule take back over the next evening.
